Hi, I’m Claudia. I grew up in Germany, where food and cooking were always at the heart of family life. Fourteen years ago, I made Copenhagen my home, and it’s here—together with my family—that my love for cooking has grown even stronger.
Creating From Scratch is my way of passing on that passion: showing how simple, fun, and rewarding it can be to make honest food with your own hands, and to share it with others around the table.
About Me
I grew up in a family where food was everything—shared meals, open doors for guests, and endless curiosity in the kitchen. From my grandfather’s legendary Hungarian goulash to my mother’s perfect sauces, I learned early that the best dishes start from scratch, with the right ingredients, patience, and love.
That passion never took a holiday. Whether backpacking through Asia or exploring markets in South America, I’ve always planned my travels around food—tasting everything from llama in Ecuador to pho in Vietnam.
For 23 years, I built a career in marketing and branding, keeping food as my greatest hobby. Now, I’m exploring how to turn that lifelong passion into something more—combining my marketing expertise with my love for cooking, hosting, and creating memorable meals from scratch.
